The Clark County Law Foundation's Community Service committee hosts a memorial service for  members of the bar who have passed away in the last year. We encourage you to attend this touching service which honors the memory and contributions of members of our southern Nevada legal community.

This service is a project of the Clark County Law Foundation's community service committee in conjunction with the State Bar of Nevada, Eighth Judicial District Court, U.S. District Court, and Federal Bar Association-Las Vegas Chapter.

On an ongoing basis throughout the year, the Clark County Bar Association accepts names of bar members who passed away between June 2, 2009 and June 1, 2010. The CCBA hosts an induction ceremony for current member attorneys who have been in practice for 40 years and also recognizing the 40–Year Cub members on their 5th, 10th, and 15th Anniversary. The inductees are honored by their colleagues while the others celebrating their anniversary enjoy a lunch filled with good food, presentations, and reminiscing with a bit of humor thrown in on the side. Each spring CCBA hosts the Meet Your Judges Mixer. The judiciary is invited as guests of the bar to attend an evening event filled with fine food, good company and entertainment. CCBA hosts this event to provide our members with an opportunity to meet the judiciary in a casual social setting.

The Clark County Bar Association hosts luncheons to bring news and featured speakers from the community to the membership and public at large.

The New Admittees Party is an evening event held each fall to celebrate the swearing-in of new admittees to the Bar. This festive occasion is an opportunity for CCBA members to welcome new attorneys to the legal community and get to know local judiciary.

The beginning of every year brings the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. CCBA honors and thanks those who donate their time and energy to a CCBA program, project, committee or publication.
